I'm sorry, but I do not recall a beauty shop in the Carter house. I was stationed on that base for three years (83-86) and I did have my hair done but not at the Carter House. My only memory of that little house (that was always a sweet little pink cottage when the Navy was in town) is that it was open to tourists and interested Bermudians due to its historic nature. This was not something you normally found on active cold war US Military installations.
