A Yankee in Bermuda

May is the month of the oleander. The blossoms are EVERYWHERE in Bermuda, in shades of white, red, and pink. As pretty as it looks, however, it is deadly. All parts of the plant contain a toxin similar to the one found in foxglove (
Digitalis
).
